Salt Cod with Cardoons (Baccalà con Cardi)

A winter dish combining salt cod and tender cardoons.

Ingredients

- Salt cod
- Cardoons
- Garlic
- Olive oil
- Tomatoes (optional)
- Salt and pepper

Preparation

Clean and boil cardoons. Sauté garlic in oil, add cod and tomatoes, and cook until tender. Combine with cardoons and simmer briefly. Serve hot.
