A humble dish from the peasant tradition, based on stale bread and beans.

Ingredients

- 300 g dried beans (or fresh in season)
- 200 g stale bread
- 2 garlic cloves
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper

Preparation

Soak and cook the beans in water with garlic. Once cooked, season with salt and pepper. Pour the hot beans and their broth over slices of stale bread. Drizzle with olive oil and serve warm.
