Peasant Ciambellotto (Ciambellotto Contadino)

A rustic, soft ring cake made with simple ingredients, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

- 300 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 ml milk
- 100 ml olive oil
- Baking powder
- Lemon zest

Preparation

Beat the eggs with sugar, then add oil, milk, and zest. Mix in flour and baking powder. Pour into a greased ring mold and bake at 180°C for about 30–40 minutes. Let cool before serving.
